BE A MAN... who stands alone

Daniel was taken captive as a teen-ager and carried away to the wicked city of Babylon,
where he was separated from the Godly influence of his parent and family.
Renamed with the title of a heathen god, he was enrolled in an educational program
that was humanistic and Godless. Most of his peers who had been captive with him
rejected their upbringing and accepted new heathen customs. In addition to all of this,
Daniel faced possibility of painful suffering at the hands of cruel and merciless men.

If anyone had reason to be bitter against God and to reject the moral standards by which
he was raised, it was Daniel. Instead, Daniel became one of God's most outstanding examples of standing alone for scriptural conviction.

Each time that Daniel stood alone, it looked as if he would lose; but God used the struggles that Daniel experienced to give him greater honor and spiritual insight.

In every age God is looking for Daniels-- men and women who understand scriptural principles and have purposed to stand for them whatever the cost.
